ALTOONA, Pa (WJAC) — The Logan Township board of supervisors and the Altoona water authority announced on Thursday that both agencies are working on an agreement that will allow the water authority to have complete control over the township's wastewater collection.
Officials say the township currently releases water to the authority treatment system through long-standing agreements.
They say there will be several benefits to this change including stabilized sewer rates and better customer service.
More details regarding the new agreement will be released at future board meetings.
