Clearfield Co. announces appointment of newest commissioner
Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — On Wednesday, officials in Clearfield County announced the appointment of the county's newest commissioner, following the resignation of former commissioner Antonio “Tony” Scotto.
President Judge Fredric Ammerman appointed Mary E. Tatum to fill the commission's vacancy.
Officials say Tatum, a Houtzdale resident, will serve as the third Clearfield County Commissioner for the remainder of Scotto's term.
Commissioner Tatum will officially begin serving out the term on Monday, Nov. 28th.
According to a copy of her resume, Tatum has worked in the child services industry since 2007, and has also served on numerous boards and committees throughout the area.
