Officials identify victim of deadly Cambria Township crash

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Authorities have identified the man killed in a crash Friday afternoon in Cresson Township.
Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees says 84-year-old George Pastirko of Ebensburg was driving in Cambria Township when his car collided with another occupied by two juveniles.
Lees says the cause of death is multiple sources of blunt force trauma as Pastirko was not wearing his seatbelt.
One of the juveniles was injured.
Their condition is unclear.

Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees says a man in his 80s is the victim of a deadly crash Friday afternoon in Cambria Township.
He says the crash involved two vehicles and happen on North Center Street/Old Route 219 near Emerald Estates Drive.
Officials say two juveniles were also involved in the crash
One of the juveniles was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center for evaluation.
The juveniles were reportedly in a separate car from the man killed.
The Cambria County Coroner’s Office along with Cambria Township Police and a Pennsylvania State Police reconstruction team are investigating.
Lees says an autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.

The crash was reported on North Center Street near Emerald Drive in Cambria Township around 1 p.m.
