Erin was born on July 22, 1998, in Rochester, New York, located on Lake Ontario. Growing up in a Republican household, she was familiarized with politics early on. To help out Gary E. Smith’s campaign for city court judge, she took part in a parade in the area and designed T-shirts.

In 2015, Erin Perrine came back to Washington, D.C., and became the national press secretary for the NRCC. Her duties included formulating and carrying out the NRCC’s media plan for the 2016 and 2018 election cycles.
