It Really Irks Me How Grown Men Suck Up To Victor - The Young and the Restless

Whats that about? Grown men (Micheal and Cole) sucking up to get back into Victors graces. For goodness sake. Are there any men in GC that are manly enough to tell Victor to kick rocks.
Im female and would have told him straight out. “I just saved your tail from prison” not only that put my own freedom in jeopardy by aiding and abbetting.
I dont give a rats butt if you never speak to me. Im a grown man and dont owe you jack. Least of all respect cause you dont deserve it.

The thing about me is Ive never had a problem standing up for myself and it doesnt matter if you’re old, young,rich poor, cripple or crazy, you dont get to talk down to me and I take it. Me sucking up is just out of the question.
I dont care if people dont like me thats a waste of energy. My children are my life and my circle is very small just the way I like it.
I would love love to go head to head with Victor. I wish I was Nicky for 5 minutes. What can he do, hes almost 100. All he do is spew out threats, scheme revenge and boss folk around and thats only cause they let him.

I never thought about it like that, but the show DOES make a lot more sense if you view Victor as some horrific Lovecraftian elder god, and everyone else in Genoa City as insane cultists whose minds have been destroyed by his mere presence.

Unfortunately, Nikki never fully stands up to her bully of a husband either. At one time, Victor was married to a lady named Sabrina. When Sabrina died, he told Nikki that he wished that it was Nikki who died instead. Victor walks all over her and always has. He treats her like a child, not like an equal.

I recall that. He really loved her and kind of lost it when she died. I also remember Nicky going to Ashley and telling her that she was the only one who could bring Victor back to his old self.
This part Never made any sense to me though that Nicky felt that way.
