Man, 70, accused of groping girl with ice cube during Altoona Curve game, police say

Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Logan Township Police Department say a 70-year-old Martinsburg man is facing charges after he allegedly groped a female juvenile during an Altoona Curve game this summer.

Police say the incident occurred on the evening of August 12th when Calvin Zook reportedly "pinned" the girl against a food service counter and "rubbed an ice cube against her bare leg and buttocks area."

Investigators say Zook was reportedly working at People's Natural Gas Field that night as a volunteer.

Police say the victim told authorities that she had never met Zook prior to the incident.

Authorities say Zook later confessed to the assault and was charged with misdemeanor indecent assault and corruption of minors.
