Nyack Brothers Nabbed In Connection With Murder
Nyack resident Christopher Corley, 40, was charged with allegedly hindering the prosecution of the murder investigation involving his brother, 37-year-old Lakeview resident Mickey Corley, who stands charged with second-degree murder for the alleged fatal shooting of a 35-year-old man in March, according to police.
The two brothers were arrested in Nyack on Sunday. They are scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Monday afternoon.
Police said that Corley is accused of killing Hempstead resident Shaleek Jenkins outside Sonny O’s Pub in Valley Stream at approximately 4 a.m. on March 13. Jenkins was transported to a local Long Island hospital and pronounced dead an hour later.
