Teen arrested, charged for Kennywood shooting; second shooter still on the run
Pittsburgh (WJAC) — Allegheny County police say a 15-year-old boy was arrested in relation to a shooting last month at Kennywood Park that left three people injured, including himself.
Police announced Thursday that Darryl Pirl will be charged as an adult with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a minor and recklessly endangering another person.
Police say they believe two guns were fired during a fight inside the park.
Investigators say the teen was struck in the leg before fleeing and he was later taken by private vehicle to the hospital.
Police added that they believe the shooting was part of an ongoing feud between two groups of teens in the Pittsburgh area.
Authorities say the search continues for a second shooter.
