Huntingdon Co. man accused of inappropriately touching sleeping family member
Huntingdon Co., PA (WJAC) — State police say a Huntingdon County man is behind bars after he was accused of inappropriately touching a family member while she slept.
According to the affidavit, troopers were contacted on Monday after the man's social worker reported the alleged incident.
Police say the victim claimed that she woke up Sunday night and discovered that 50-year-old Rod Hardy was allegedly molesting her in her sleep.
Troopers say when they interviewed Hardy about the allegations he initially denied the claims.
Police say Hardy later admitted to sexually assaulting the woman, telling police "I touched her."
According to online court records, Hardy was arraigned Tuesday on charges of aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault of an unconscious person.
He is being held in the Huntingdon County Prison on $25,000 bail.
