State police in Clearfield County have released more information about Wednesday's fatal crash on Interstate 80 westbound in Union Township.

Troopers say 59-year-old Amy Freeman, of Salem, NH, was killed when her motorcycle was struck by a tractor-trailer that had collided with another tractor-trailer that had become disabled.

Investigators say tractor-trailer #1 was traveling a short distance behind the second tractor-trailer, in the left lane, when the driver noticed that the vehicle had become disabled, from a mechanical issue, and was attempting to exit onto the side of the roadway.

Authorities say tractor-trailer #1 struck the rear of the second tractor-trailer, causing it to travel into the right lane and collide with Freeman.

Police say the motorcycle traveled off the roadway and Freeman suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash.

Troopers say neither tractor-trailer driver suffered injuries in the crash.

State police did not mention in the crash report whether or not any of the drivers would be charged in the crash.
