State police in Clearfield County say a 19-year-old Reynoldsville man was killed earlier this week in a fiery, two-vehicle crash in Bradford Township.

Investigators say Derraick Burkett was reportedly traveling southbound on Shiloh Road, near the intersection of Route 322, when he failed to stop at the flashing red signal and collided with a tractor-trailer.

Police say Burkett's vehicle struck the guardrail, multiple times, before catching fire.

According to the crash report, crews arrived at the scene, just before 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday and pronounced Burkett deceased.

Authorities say Burkett's passenger, a 19-year-old female from Woodland, was transported for treatment of unknown injuries.

Police say the driver of the tractor-trailer was also treated for injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
