Rapper Young Greatness Killed In New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS, (CelebrityAccess) — Young Greatness, an up-and-coming rapper from New Orleans, was shot and killed by an unknown assailant in his hometown on Monday.
According to The Times-Picayune, Police said that Young Greatness, whose real name was Theodore Jones, was shot early Monday morning outside of a Waffle House located in the 2900 block of Elysian Fields Avenue.
Emergency responders pronounced Jones dead at the scene.
A native of New Orleans, Jones relocated to Houston following Hurricane Katrina. He was best known for his song “Moolah” which landed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2015.
According to his webpage, he signed a deal with Birdman’s Cash Money Records in 2017 and launched a NOLA-based imprint Mile High Music Group, which he was planning to release new music under.
Jones’ mother told WDSU that her son was in New Orleans for a funeral and was on FaceTime with his manager when shots were fired, the Times-Picayune reported.
