The GoFundMe for Reed's services surpassed $1,000 in only three days,
"When a community member dies without warning, once we recover from the initial shock and pick ourselves up off the floor, we know that we have to help," read the GoFundMe campaign description. "Although nothing can bring back Dewayne, your support at this time matters."
