Shiny Swirlix Pokemon GO, Swirlix Spotlight Hour
In our Shiny Swirlix Pokemon GO, Swirlix Spotlight Hour guide, we are going to show you whether or not Swirlix can be shiny and how to tell it apart from the regular version. We will also show you when the event is going to begin and end, as well as what the bonus is going to be. Let’s jump in!
Pokemon GO Swirlix Spotlight Hour
During the Swirlix Spotlight Hour in Pokemon GO, the fluffy Pokemon will spawn much more often than usual, including the shiny version (more on that in the next section). The event will take place on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 between 6 PM and 7 PM local server time. As is always the case with Spotlight Hours, this one too will feature a small bonus that you can use to grind out resources. This week, you’ll get twice the Catch Stardust while the event lasts. It’s not the most exciting, I know, but you never know when you’ll need that extra bit of Stardust. By the way, you get the double Stardust for any Pokemon you catch, not just Swirlix.

Yes, Swirlix can be shiny in Pokemon GO, which means that the Spotlight Hour will be the perfect time to go hunting for one. As we’ve said above, the cloud-like Pokemon will be spawning at an increased rate during the event. That means that your odds of scoring a shiny Swirlix are greater than usual. And fortunately, it’s very easy to tell a special Swirlix from a regular one. While the normal Swirlix is white, the shiny is a light, caramel yellow. Assuming, of course, that you don’t have trouble seeing colors, but that’s a whole different matter. Either way, make sure to use the most of the Spotlight Hour and the double catch Stardust bonus.
