Where the cast of Ugly Betty are now - from tragic suicides to horrific death threats and even Olymp
UGLY Betty was the must-watch show when it aired between 2006 and 2010.
The comedy-drama followed Betty Suarez, who somehow landed a job at a fashion magazine despite her own questionable sense of style.
Viewers immediately fell in love with Betty and her family and work colleagues, even though they could be back-stabbers.
The show ended in April 2010 after four series, but is available for fans new and old to enjoy since Starz joined Disney+ earlier this year.
Here's what the stars of the series have been up to since.
America Ferrera
America, 36, played the titular Betty on the show, and went on to land a role in the West End production of Chicago as Roxie Hart after the show ended.
In 2015, America began portraying Amy in comedy, Superstore, but confirmed she would be leaving the show in February last year.
However, the coronavirus pandemic has pushed back her departure from series five to series six to give her character a proper exit.
Eric Mabius
Eric played Betty's boss Daniel Meade, a serial womaniser in charge of fashion magazine, Mode.
While Eric has continued to act since Ugly Betty ended, he hasn't secured as prominent a role in a show.
However he has guest starred in programmes including Scandal and Blue Bloods, as well as playing the lead in a number of TV movies.
Before finding fame as an actor, Eric was a luger in the 1980s and in 2010, he was named as an honorary captain of the US luge team at the Winter Olympics.
Vanessa Williams
Vanessa's character Wilhelmina Slater was one fans loved to hate thanks to her relentless pursuit of taking control of Mode.
After Ugly Betty ended, Vanessa, 58, starred in the final two series of Desperate Housewives as Renee Perry.
She has also guest starred in shows including Modern Family, The Mindy Project and The Good Wife.
RuPaul's Drag Race fans will also recognise Vanessa as a frequent guest judge, a role she loved to much she even took part in RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race last year, winning her episode.
Ana Ortiz
Ana, 50, played Betty's older sister Hilda, who suffered plenty of heartache as well as bringing lots of laughter and light relief.
After the show, Ana landed roles in a number of series that didn't get picked up by their networks.
But in 2012 she joined Devious Maids in a lead role, which aired on Lifetime in the US.
Ana has also provided her voice to a number of animated projects including Elena of Avalor and Ralph Breaks the Internet.
Becki Newton
Becki, 42, played receptionist Amanda Tanen, a bit of an airhead who had a big heart.
Becki has continued to act and earlier this year, it was revealed she had landed a role in the upcoming Netflix series The Lincoln Lawyer.
Michael Urie
Michael, 40, won a legion of fans as Wilhelmina's sassy sidekick and Amanda's BFF Marc St James.
Since the show he has starred in Modern Family, The Good Wife and Younger and turned his hand to directing.
He is set to play a role in a new Netflix romantic comedy where his character Peter tries to get his best friend to come on a family trip to help him avoid awkward questions about his eternally single status.
Mark Indelicato
Mark was one of the youngest cast members of Ugly Betty, playing Betty's nephew Justin Suarez.
It remains his biggest role to date, however he has appeared in films including Dead of Summer and White Bird in a Blizzard.
He also took a break from his acting career to go to university.
However, his experience on Ugly Betty wasn't all positive, as he revealed on an episode of Dr Phil that he had been sent death threats over his character on the show.
